May 16, 2006Franz BieberkopfFranz BieberkopfFranz Bieberkopf wishes he were as observant of real life as he is of motion pictures. He can brood for hours without noticing the play of light on Queen Anne Hill, but is able to point out every natural light source in a 21st Century Danish film. Were it not for his adequacies in mathematics, Bieberkopf might have been a geek. Instead, he joined the ranks of film critics in 1989, writing for books, magazines, and newspapers across the nation before finding this home among the SIFF bloggers.
