SIFF poster

Well, to get the gossipy side of this site going...last evening attended the opening night of the 5th Avenue Theatre's "Edward Scissorhands" and the last page of the program featured the poster for this year's SIFF. Which doesn't seem to be on SIFF's own site yet, so thought I'd post a blurb here. It's an astrological theme, with the astrological wheel and "predictions" for each sign. Mine (Gemini) says: "Crash bam bing boom! You need adrenaline. Go see the world come to an end in all its cinematic gloroy. Pestilence, natural disasters and more! Your Night: May 29." So everyone will have fun reading what it says for their sign, unless you dismiss astrology as pagan rubbish. Very cartoony design, also rather violent; the archers have shot arrows into both the bull and lion (who admittedly don't seem very disturbed). In the center is a heart bearing the sign "Find True Film." Well, certainly easier than finding true love...
