Interview with Jennifer Abbott, co-director of "The Corporation"

I had the distinct pleasure of interviewing Jennifer Abbott today, co-director of "The Corporation." Sadly, the time allotted for the interview was far too short, but unfortunately that's just the way it goes. She told me of the overwhelmingly positive audience reactions to the film at the various festivals it's played and in Canada where it is currently the highest grossing documentary ever. She said that the film has also been very well received among the buisness community and garnered numerous favorable reviews in many so-called 'right-wing' buisness journals and newspapers. This is a testament to the approach the film takes with its subject matter. While the film clearly has an obvious viewpoint, it is handled in very even-handed way. So much so that it is actually affecting business leaders perspectives, as Abbott attested to. This film really needs to be seen by everyone. Tonight is the last screening of the festival and Abbott will be in attendance, but if you can't make it, make time to see it when it opens on its regular run. The people responsible for this movie have done a very good thing by putting this out into the world.
