After a heart attack a prodigy turned Conductor returns to live in the village that he and his mother fled when he was a child to avoid his childhood tormentors. He is recognized by the community for his celebrity status, his tie from the past is unknown to everyone. He reluctantly gets roped into leading the church choir which leads to his finally confronting the ghosts and fears of his past. Soon he discovers love and true meaning in his life, his involvement with the choir has earthshaking consequences for everyone involved. A beautiful story with fine performances makes this a film worth seeing.
